Here is something so enlightening!!!
Think and write down names of a few important people in your life. Have you ever thought what do they need from you and what is that you need from them? The truth is the fundamentals of every relationship is a need. It is natural, wonderful and perfectly okay. There is nothing wrong in having a needs in a relationship. Having clarity about the needs keeps things simple and expectations known. This is so important in relationships. Isn’t the crux of differences and distances in relationships lack of clarity and unknown / unacceptable expectations?
Let’s see if we can sort it out and have greater clarity on relationships.
Let’s see who we are and what we want.
Let’s see what their needs are and what are your needs?

I just made this list by scanning a few very important relationships in my life and scanning our needs from each other. I trust you must have found some resonance somewhere. This is not a complete list by any means. Please feel free to add / delete a few needs from this list to suit your perspectives.
It is absolutely perfect to have these needs and more as long as three conditions are take care of:
First, the need to give should be ALWAYS more than the need to take from ALL relationships.
Secondly, if your needs are not met, you will have the wisdom to move on or the strength to hold on. 100% success is not expected.
Thirdly, watch out for change in needs. Oh yes, these changes do happen and this makes everything all so very fascinating. It keeps the relationship new, fresh, and alive and like a roller coaster ride. Exciting, isn’t it?
Now, go all out and first understand, (then confirm if possible) and then meet those needs. Express and ask your needs to be met. Sometimes, it will be like a tug of war. Smile and carry on. By meeting these needs, you will be superbly maintaining, sustaining and nurturing your relationships. Now go and live it up…….
